Massachusetts State Police, DCR, Freetown crews locate endangered man at Freetown/Fall River State Forest
Crews from several agencies combined to locate a missing and endangered man.
According to the Freetown Fire Department a multiagency search took place Friday in “The Ledge” area of the Freetown/Fall River State Forest for a reported male planning to harm himself.
With Assets from Freetown Fire, Freetown Police, Mass DCR Park Rangers, Mass State Police, and Mass Environmental Police all committed to the search, the Fire Crew, in a utility vehicle, was able to locate the man running toward Route 24 where police intercepted him.
The man was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
