Massachusetts State Police arrests 33 wanted suspects, issue 6 search warrants, in 7-day period

From Oct. 6-12, 2023, the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section arrested 33 suspects who were wanted for various serious crimes, many of whom were actively trying to avoid capture.

According to Massachusetts State Police, the fugitives arrested were wanted on warrants for the following offenses: Murder; Rape of a Child; Armed Assault with Intent to Murder; Home Invasion; Kidnapping; Assault and Battery With a Dangerous Weapon; Aggravated Assault and Battery; Strangulation; Narcotics Trafficking; Violation of Protective Order; Breaking and Entering; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm; Failure to Register as a Sex Offender; and Being a Fugitive from Justice.

MSP VFAS Troopers also executed six search warrants in furtherance of ongoing investigations and seized an unlawfully possessed Glock .380 pistol and quantities of crack cocaine, powder cocaine, and Oxycontin.

A list of the suspects names was not released.
