Massachusetts sees record drop in COVID-19 hospitalizations in Thursday report
Massachusetts saw a decrease in hospitalizations in Thursday’s COVID-19 report.
Massachusetts has seen 270 more positive cases announced in the last 24 hours. An increase from the previous 24 hour period.
The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 107,683 with 16 more reported dead for a total of 8,265.
Massachusetts had seen 192 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.
16,133 tests were performed, almost 5,400 more than yesterday, to increase the overall total to 1,391,221. The amount of individuals tested is 1,079,288.
Hospitalizations have decreased in 61 of the last 74 days and saw a drop of 181 to see the total decrease to 351.

According to the CDC, as of July 23rd, the total amount of COVID-19 cases in the country is 3,952,273 with 142,755 dead.
