Massachusetts Police Department warns of new TikTok challenge
A Massachusetts Police Department had some strong words for those attempting a new TiktTok challenge.
The Charlton Police are warning of serious injuries from the Milk Crate Challenge.
“The Milk Crate Challenge is the latest Instagram, TikTok and Twitter craze turning the entire world into IDIOTS!
“It calls for people to attempt to ascend one side of a rickety pyramid of stacked milk crates and down the other, all while someone else records you, challenging the next Darwin Award participant to one-up you on an even larger stack.
“Millions are trying the feat, the vast majority are failing miserably, and in the process causing serious injuries to themselves.
“If you or your child participates in this stunt, it’s easy to predict neither of you will be getting your Masters Degree in Engineering from M.I.T.”
Injuries are being reported across the country as many of the serious back, neck, arm, and head ailments are being caused due to the crates being stacked 6-7 high.
According to WSBTV, a health worker reported seeing two cases just on Sunday of people breaking or fracturing bones from attempting the challenge.
