A Massachusetts man has several plans in mind after hitting some big money recently on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Armando Moniz of New Bedford is the winner of the second to last $1 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Triple 777” scratch ticket game.
He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans on helping family, investing, and taking a trip to Portugal with the winnings.

He purchased his winning ticket at Sebastion’s Cafe & Sports Bar, 110 County St. in New Bedford. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
One instant grand prize of $1 million remains for this game.
