Massachusetts group announces free admission at select locations for April school break
For April School Vacation Week 2022 (April 18-22), the Highland Street Foundation has partnered with organizations across Massachusetts to provide educational and cultural experiences including live performances with the Boston Public Library, Swan Boat Rides at the Boston Public Garden and free admission to Buttonwood Park Zoo, Cape Cod Maritime Museum, Children’s Museum of Greater Fall River, Concord Museum, Edward Gorey House, Harvard Art Museums, Revolutionary Spaces, Rose Kennedy Greenway Carousel, Smith College Museum of Art, and the USS Constitution Museum!
Please note that some of these activities require advance registration on a first-come, first-served basis and have limited capacity. Please visit individual websites to view COVID protocols.

Join BPL’s Artist-in-Residence LJ Baptiste in an all-new intensive comics BOOTCAMP! This 90-minute intensive session will give teens in grades 6 through 12 the opportunity to take their knowledge and skills within this incredible medium to the next level. Explore the depths of comic creation as LJ deconstructs the processes and influence behind famed greats in the world of comics and manga and apply your learning to new work in storytelling and creative artistry! In addition, a solid selection of quality artistic supplies valued at over $100 per registrant is included.
