The location of a former popular market in Westport has a new tenant.
Edible Creations by Gerry will soon be opening at 35 State Road (Route 6), the former location of Gene’s Meat Market.
Edible Creations by Gerry focuses on corporate and contract catering creating custom menus, creative pastries, and cookies.
Gerry DuPont, the Gerry in Edible Creations by Gerry, has been decorating cakes for more than 30 years and has been involved in every aspect of event planning and catering for more than 25 years. He currently serves all of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Dupont is happy that soon he will no longer have to commute from Tiverton to Warwick, where the business is currently located.
“Let the joyous news be spread. My commute back and forth to Warwick is almost dead. OPENING SOON in Westport MA. (Mostly catering and pick-ups). We “MIGHT” be open limited days/hours for walk in service (retail). That’s a HUGE might depending on the want and need of our client base from Westport and surrounding areas.”

Dupont is often featured on “The Rhode Show” on WPRI whipping up all kinds of creations. Soon, some of those creations will be made next door in Westport.
