Local woman accused of murdering newborn son granted bail in Fall River Superior Court
A local woman was granted bail Tuesday after being indicted on a Murder charge Monday.
According to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III, 59-year-old, Dianne Curry Peck, of Attleboro, MA, was indicted Monday afternoon by a Bristol County Grand Jury for the January 1985 murder of her newborn son in Mansfield.
On January 26, 1985, the body of a male newborn was discovered in the woods off of Fruit Street in Mansfield, MA.
The defendant was arraigned Tuesday morning in the Fall River Superior Court where she pled not guilty.
Court records show that bail was set at $100,000 surety/$10,000 cash.
A pretrial conference was scheduled for August 31st.
