
Authorities are investigating after a body was found behind a Fall River retail store.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 11:00 a.m. Friday morning, units responded to the wooded area behind Walmart after receiving a report that a deceased person had been located.
Major Crimes Detectives and Massachusetts State Police Detectives are currently investigating.
Gregg Miliote of the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office told Fall River Reporter Friday night that the death is a suspected overdose.

This has become a real dumping ground. Too bad the FRPD and Administration have let the homeless encampments become permanent. It’s sad for the people in there and the victims like this.
Its not the homeless fault they are homeless, its the section 8 favorites list thats causing the housing crisis , you see when a new landlord starts collecting rent from section 8 and sees that a single mother of 2 kids brings $1800/month they will never again accept rent of an affordable price again for a single male , the more landlords that accept section 8 is the more apartments that cost astronomical prizes. Prices that even a construction worker would find impossible to afford on his own.its a stab at the second ammendment because it aims to keep the single male broke or homeless .
Time to demand Wal-Mart sell only American made products.
