In first varsity season, Atlantis Charter wins first playoff game in school history, looking for more
On Tuesday, the Atlantis Charter School boys Varsity Soccer team won the school’s first-ever state playoff game, defeating Cape Cod Academy 4-1.
Now, excitement is building for the South Sectional Quarterfinals on Saturday when the forth seeded Tritons will host Bishop Connolly. This is the team’s first year playing at the Varsity level and they achieved a regular season record of 10 wins, 3 loses, and 5 ties.
Last year, the team went undefeated in it’s inaugural JV season.
Last winter, the boys Varsity Basketball team made the state playoffs, and this season the girls Varsity Volleyball team also made the state playoffs, but both teams lost their playoff games.
The next playoff game will be held at Atlantis Charter School on Saturday Nov. 9 at 12pm.
