Have any outstanding parking tickets? Fall River amnesty program set to begin
Soon it will be the perfect time to pay off your tickets in Fall River if you have a late fee.
The long-standing amnesty program takes place from December 1st until January 6th this year instead of the typical end of December. During this time, late fees will be removed from tickets. This is your opportunity to pay off past due parking tickets and to keep your license and registration in good standing.
The program is for any tickets that are flagged at the registry of motor vehicles. Only the late fees can be dismissed.
Your plate number will be needed, and you can pay in person at the Traffic and Parking Department at Government Center or call (508) 324-2577. Checks are not accepted.
Unpaid parking tickets will prevent you from renewing your driver’s license or vehicle registration.
Government Center is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
