The Narrows Center welcomes the holiday season with another nice schedule of concerts. Here’s the December schedule of upcoming events. Doors open at 7 p.m. and shows start at 8 p.m., unless otherwise noted.

Fri, Dec 1. Johnny A. One of the greatest guitarists, Johnny A presents a thoroughly unique blend of blues, rock and other musical styles that create a “pop” sensibility and broad appeal other guitarists cannot match. $27 Advance; $30 Day of Show.

Sat, Dec 2. Kat Wright. Opener: Grace Morrison. Kat Wright’s band includes seven players, each a soloist and entertainer in their own right, blending Memphis soul and new school R&B with a level of improvisation that more than a few Vermont bands have been known for. $20; $22.

Thu, Dec 7. Anders Osborne & Jackie Greene. Anders Osborne and Jackie Greene were booked to do a few solo acoustic shows together, and both thought they would be a helluva lot more fun if they joined together “in the round.” $47; $50.

Fri, Dec 8. Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives. With legends like George Jones, Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard all passed on, country music purists often ask: “Who’s going to fill their shoes?” The answer is Marty Stuart. $60 Advance; $65 Day of Show; $200 VIP Package; $100 VIP Package.

Fri, Dec 15. Magic Dick & Shun Ng. Magic Dick, the legendary harmonica player for Boston’s legendary J. Geils Band has partnered up with guitar and vocal sensation, Shun Ng, to create one of the most dynamic musical acts to come out of Boston in a long time. $22; $25.

Sat, Dec 16. Parsonsfiled: Holiday Acoustic Tour. Parsonsfield is a multi-genre quintet, drawing on the string bands of Appalachia. They trade instruments, share microphones, and sing in tight multi-part harmonies. $20; $22.

Thu, Dec 28. Quinn Sullivan. SOLD OUT.

Fri, Dec 29. Quinn Sullivan. 18-year-old Quinn Sullivan has gained a reputation among today’s most respected guitar players. He has already sold out two shows at the Narrows this year. Don’t wait to get your tickets. $27; $30.

Sat, Dec 30. Los Lobos. One of the most acclaimed American bands of the 80s and 90s, won over critics and a legion of loyal fans with their bracing mixture of rock, blues, Tex-Mex, country, R&B, and Mexican folk sounds. $77; $82.
