Four structural inspections to take place on I-195 in Fall River for a week
FALL RIVER – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that it will be conducting structural inspection work on the South Main Street, Fall River Government Center ceiling panels, Third Street, and Fourth Street structures over I-195 in Fall River. The work is scheduled to begin on Sunday, July 12, and is anticipated to be completed in one week.
The work will require double right and left lane closures as needed in both the east and westbound directions of I-195 between the hours of 9:00 p.m. through 4:00 a.m.
Standard traffic set-ups and police details will be used, as needed for traffic control.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
