Fall River’s Yorgan De Castro to fight for Eagle FC heavyweight title
(Fall River, MA/Miami, FL) He is getting his title shot.
With Yorgan De Castro defeating Junior Dos Santos by way of TKO, Eagle FC has announced that De Castro now moves to challenge Rizvan Kuniev for the Eagle FC heavyweight title.
Kuniev is 12-2-1 and is undefeated since 2015 winning his last nine professional bouts. The 30-year-old Kuniev is 6’4″ and is known as a well-rounded fighter.
The 6’0″ Mad Titan (9-3) has back-to-back victories in Eagle FC 44 and 47 and a three-fight professional win streak overall since leaving the UFC. The 34-year-old De Castro has won recently by both submission and due to his punching power.
According to Eagle FC, the anticipated heavyweight title fight between De Castro and Kuniev is expected to take place later this year.
