Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week Raja is so, so beautiful!

This boxer/husky mix is a spry, energetic two-year-old that’s ready to go at all times! She’s great with other dogs, with polite manners and the eagerness to play. Once another dog play bows in her direction, it’s all over and she’s going to bounce and goof around with them until she’s exhausted. She would also do okay with cats, in the sense that they make her uncomfortable and she wants to leave the room whenever she sees one.

Raja is a big girl at about 50lbs but she’s okay on a leash and won’t yank your arm out of the socket. She knows sit, stay, come, paw, and other paw, so she has a GREAT foundation for you to build on for training and cues! She’s also a happy-go-lucky kind of girl that loves toys and loves people! She has no issues meeting strangers and she’s a quick learner that is eager to please!

She’s got great focus, so she’ll definitely pay attention to whatever you teach her. She may be a big girl, but she knows her size and is pretty well mannered! She did come to Forever Paws as a stray, so they are asking any children in the home to be 12+ as they have no idea if she’s ever been around smaller children and don’t have a way to test her with them.

Raja does have some hair loss around her rear end/tail, but FP thinks it’s because the kennels unfortunately make her anxious and she overgrooms/nibbles herself.
