Fall River woman injured, Fall River driver cited in pedestrian crash
A pedestrian was injured and sent to the hospital Tuesday after a pedestrian versus vehicle crash.
According to Detective John Robinson, at 6:04 p.m., a 50-year-old female city resident was struck by a 2011 Kia Sportage driving northerly on Broadway.
The female victim was crossing the street from 647 Broadway headed west to east.
The woman, who complained of pain to her abdomen and right knee, was transported to RI Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Kia operator, a 36-year-old man from Fall River, will be summonsed to District Court for Negligent Operation.
