Fall River to hold mass, reception for police, fire, first responders
St. Michael Parish in Fall River will offer a “Blue Mass” to pray for the safety of police, fire department personnel and first responders. It will take place on the vigil of the Church’s Feast of St. Michael who is the patron saint of all those in law enforcement. Area police, fire personnel and first responders are invited to attend.
The mass will take place on September 28 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Along with offering prayers, this “Blue Mass” provides an opportunity to offer gratitude for their service. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
