Fall River stays at 116 COVID-19 deaths, at 1,819 cases in Wednesday’s report

Fall River saw an additional case of COVID-19 in Wednesday’s report.

The City saw 1 new case in today’s report, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River increase to 1,819.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River stays at 116.

On Thursday, 8 COVID-19 cases were revealed. On Friday, 9 new cases were reported. Saturday saw 4 COVID-19 cases. 8 more cases were reported on Sunday. On Monday Fall River reported 12 new cases. 19 COVID-19 cases were reported on Tuesday.

The City continues to encourage residents to practice social distancing. This means keeping a distance of 6ft between individuals. Continue to wash your hands on a regular basis, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, and stay home as much as possible, especially when you are sick, and wear a face covering when out in public. These measures will help to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
 Appointments from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday – Thursday
 Closed to the public on Fridays, Weekends, and Holidays
