Firefighters battle major Westport blaze Friday night
The Westport Fire Department is investigating a late night fire that destroyed a home near Route 6.
Just before 10:45 p.m., a call came in through Dartmouth Fire for a fully involved structure fire.
The home, which is at the end of Oakland Avenue, was vacant and under construction.
Occupants in nearby homes were evacuated.
No injuries have been reported.
