Fall River sees small COVID-19 case increase, deaths reach 90
Fall River has seen more positive cases of COVID-19 Thursday.
6 additional cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River at 1,549.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River has increased to 90 as one new death was reported.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health started Monday reporting both confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases and deaths dating back to March 1, 2020.
Friday saw 10 additional COVID-19 cases. Saturday saw 6 new cases and Sunday saw 8. Monday had no reported cases of COVID-19 and both Tuesday and Wednesday saw 3 more cases each day.

Closed to the public on Fridays, Weekends, and Holidays
Governor Charlie Baker signed an executive order on May 1, 2020 requiring face coverings in public places where social distancing is not possible. This order is effective May 6, 2020 and will remain in effect until rescinded or until the emergency is terminated.
