Fall River sees fourth shooting since Saturday which leads to man injured from gunshot
Fall River saw the fourth confirmed shooting since Saturday which led to a third injury from gunfire.
According to Lieutenant Jay Huard, at 11:55 p.m, patrol units responded to 62 Pitman Street regarding a male shot in the groin area.
Upon arrival, police located a 26-year old-victim. Huard stated that there appears to be conflicting information as it relates to the victims report of the crime and what led up to it.
The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for a non-life-threatening wound.
Huard stated that Major Crimes Detectives responded and will be conducting a follow up investigation.
Earlier in the evening, Fall River saw the third shooting in the same area of the City.
