Fall River sees another low COVID-19 case count in Wednesday’s report
Fall River has seen an increase in new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday.
The City saw 3 more cases in today’s report, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River increased to 1,585.
The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 106.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health started reporting both confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases and deaths dating back to March 1, 2020.
On Thursday, 4 COVID-19 cases were reported. Friday revealed 8 additional cases. On Saturday, 5 new cases were revealed. Sunday saw 5 new cases. Monday saw no new cases. Tuesday, COVID-19 cases decreased due to corrected addresses.
Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
Appointments from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday – Thursday
Closed to the public on Fridays, Weekends, and Holidays
Governor Charlie Baker signed an executive order on May 1, 2020 requiring face coverings in public places where social distancing is not possible. This order is effective May 6, 2020 and will remain in effect until rescinded or until the emergency is terminated.
