Fall River sees additional death while COVID-19 daily case numbers remain low

Fall River saw an increase in new cases of COVID-19 Thursday.

The City saw 4 more cases in today’s report, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River stay at 1,627.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River has increased to 108 as the city has seen an additional COVID-19 fatality

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health started reporting both confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases and deaths dating back to March 1, 2020.

Thursday and Friday combined for 25 more COVID-19 cases after a nursing home spike. Saturday saw 2 additional cases. Sunday’s report revealed 5 cases. Monday’s report confirmed 3 more cases. Tuesday saw 3 more cases. Wednesday saw no new cases.

The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
 Appointments from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday – Thursday
 Closed to the public on Fridays, Weekends, and Holidays
