Fall River sees 113 COVID-19 cases over the weekend as three weeks in the red closer to reality
Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Monday’s report.
According to the mayor’s office, 2,495 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 113 case increase over the weekend.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 136.
The report on Tuesday revealed 8 cases. Wednesday saw 27 cases of COVID-19. 21 cases were reported on Thursday. Friday saw an increase of 31 cases of the coronavirus.
The state can pull back on the city opening, after COVID-19 restrictions were eased, if Fall River is in the red for a third week. The city has been in the red for two weeks and cases continue to increase.
