Fall River reported stabbing was domestic altercation
Fall River Police are looking for a man involved in an incident Friday night.
According to Captain Barden Castro, Fall River Police responded to the VFW Post, 486 Bedford Street, at approximately 9:30 p.m. for what was eventually determined to be a domestic altercation between brothers.
The victim was reportedly leaving a party at the VFW hall when his brother approached him and an argument broke out. At some point it appears that the victim was cut in the area of his forehead during the altercation.
A warrant is being requested for the suspect, according to Castro.
The call was initially reported as a stabbing on scanner transmissions, but the injury was determined to be minor, and the victim was taken to Charlton Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Because the call was domestic in nature, by Massachusetts law, the police are not allowed to release more details.
