Fall River Public Schools issues COVID-19 data for week ending December 11th

Superintendent Matthew Malone has issued an updated and detailed report concerning COVID-19 and Fall River Public Schools for the week ending December 11th.

The data dashboard is as follows:

Total Number of Students (does not include students in out-of-district placements): 10,096

Total Number of Students (HYBRID): 5,652

Total Number of Students (FULL REMOTE): 4,444

Number of New Positive Students with Potential Student Contact (HYBRID): 14

Number of New Positive Students with No Student Contact (FULL REMOTE): 11

Total Number of Students Newly Reported This Week with a Positive COVID-19 Status: 25

Number of Students Currently in Quarantine Due to Exposure at School (HYBRID): 39

Number of Students Currently in Quarantine Due to Non-School Exposure (HYBRID): 67

Number of Students Currently in Quarantine Due to Non-School Exposure (FULL REMOTE): 31

Total Number of Students Currently in Quarantine: 137

Total Number of Employees: 1,978

Number of Employees Newly Reported This Week with a Positive COVID-19 Status: 16

Number of Employees Currently Quarantined Due to Exposure at School: 26

Number of Employees Currently Quarantined Due to Non-School Exposure: 24

Total Number of Employees Currently in Quarantine: 66

Note: Quarantine period is 14 days: quarantined students and staff may appear in more than one week.

Fall River sees nearly 340 COVID-19 cases in two days, over 6,000 overall, as death total increases

Massachusetts COVID-19 currently active cases passes 65,000 as state once again sees over 5,000 new cases
