Fall River pro boxer stays undefeated after fight Friday night
A Fall River pro boxer kept his loss column at zero after a hard fought fight Friday night.
Kris Jacobs (2-0-1) took on Chelmsford’s previously undefeated Brandon Higgins (3-1-0) at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire.
Born in Brighton, Jacobs credits Craig Adams and Charles “Chick” Rose for helping teach him the skills he has today.
Those skills helped the 32-year-old Jacobs capture the decision against Higgins at 147 pounds.
Jacobs, who is also the owner of Stay Ready Boxing & Fitness in Fall River, had previously beaten Harry Gigliotti by a majority decision in May of 2019.
In a city that has turned more to MMA, Jacobs is looking to inspire more participants to the sport. Friday’s win didn’t hurt.
