Fall River Police update Monday night shooting
Fall River Police have issued an update on the shooting that occurred on Monday night.
On Monday, June 11th, 2018 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Uniformed Officers of the Fall
River Police Department responded to the 100 block of Pine Street in response to a ‘Shots fired’ call. On arrival, witnesses informed Officer Brendan McNerney that they heard ‘between 6 to 12 rounds’ being fired off.
A canvass of the area was performed and an unoccupied Chevy Van was located with several bullet holes in the windshield. The Fall River Police Departments Major Crimes Divisions’ Crime Scene Unit was dispatched to collect evidence.
At this time the incident is still under investigation.
