Fall River Police release video of fugitive wanted in city shooting

Fall River Police have released new evidence on a suspect on Fall River’s “Most Wanted” list.

The following video was obtained as part of the investigation into shots fired outside of the Fall River Sports Club located at 233 Hope Street on November 17, 2018.

Detective Luis Vertentes led the follow up investigation and established the suspect as Christian Ojeda (d.o.b. 12-01-1995). He was immediately added to the Top Ten Most Wanted and has yet to be captured.

According to police, Ojeda was at the establishment and an argument began with another person. He eventually was escorted out of the establishment and upon leaving he pulled out a gun and began firing into the air.

FRPD are asking for anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Detective Luis Vertentes of the Major Crimes Division at 508-324-2796. Anonymous Tips can be left on our Tip line by calling 508-672-TIPS(8477).

“As you can see, this reckless conduct luckily did not injure anyone that evening, but the Fall River Police will not tolerate this. Please help us bring this suspect to justice.”
