Fall River Police release preliminary information after collision with scooter and motor vehicle

Fall River crews responded to a crash on Wednesday evening.

At approximately 6:45 p.m. a call came in for a motor vehicle accident in the area of County and Alsop Streets where a man could be seen lying on the ground.

According to Acting Chief J.T. Hoar, the collision involved a male on a scooter and a motor vehicle.

“It appears the operator of the scooter suffered a medical condition. It’s unknown at this time if the crash caused the medical condition or the medical condition contributed to the crash.”

Hoar stated that accident recon is currently on scene.
