Fall River Police issue update on serious motorcycle crash

A motorcycle versus car crash has left a man seriously injured.

The accident occurred at the intersection of South Main and Middle Street at approximately 10:00 p.m.

Police tape was deployed shortly after the crash and streets were shut down as the investigation took place.

According to Lieutenant Jay Huard, he just spoke with the detective who responded to the scene for the follow-up investigation in the crash and he was informed that the operator of the motorcycle is currently listed in critical condition.

Accident reconstruction and detectives are continuing to investigate.

The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office has released details of the crash including the name of the man who has died as a result of the collision.
