UPDATE: Fall River Police investigating fatal Saturday morning stabbing
Fall River Police have confirmed a Saturday morning stabbing in the city has become fatal.
A call came into FRPD just before 7:30 a.m. for a reported stabbing at 2000 Bay Street (Bay Village Apartments).
According to Sergeant J.T. Hoar, it can be confirmed that one male victim, who will remain unidentified at this time, was transported to Rhode Island Hospital in critical condition where he later passed away.
Crime tape had been put up by personnel at the location to secure the scene.
Fall River Police and the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office is investigating.
