Fall River Police investigating after person injured in morning shooting

Fall River Police are investigating a late morning shooting with injuries.

According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, just before 11:45 p.m., a call came into dispatch in the area of 100 Rock Street for reports of a shooting.

The victim was transported to a local trauma center.

The condition of the victim has not been released.

At least 6 shell casings and 10 evidence markers could be seen at the scene.

The scene is extremely active at this time.

Police say that Rock Street is currently closed from Bedford Street to Pine Street and Franklin Street is closed from Rock Street to North Main Street.

    Fall River is safe. Market Rate turf wars are heating up. When the train arrives crime will recede back into the Highlands.

    Livabilty said Fall River is one of the best places to live in the North East lol and the Mayor assured us the streets were safer because grandma turned in granpa’s old hunting rifle. These shootings are increasing and with the nice weather coming expect more
