Fall River Police investigating after one injured in city shooting

Fall River Police are investigating after one person has been shot.

According to Captain Barden Castro, just before 7:00 p.m., Fall River Police and EMS responded to the 500 block of Buffington Street for a report of gunshots.

Further information provided to emergency dispatchers was that a male had been shot. According to scanner transmissions, the victim is a teenager, although the victim’s age was not confirmed by police.

Initial reports are that a fight had broken out between a group of people and a person was shot in the leg.

Upon arrival, officers encountered a male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. The male was subsequently transported to St. Anne’s Hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers and detectives assigned to the Major Crimes Division are still on scene speaking with witnesses and searching for surveillance video as the investigation continues.

    Please People and Veterans who read this can you please email your Senators or Representative asked them to contact the the Veteran Affairs Committee passed a new Disabled Veterans who is 100percent service connected needs a Dentist that knows how to put in G4implants for free because they don’t have one work for a Veteran Medical Centers Dentistry or have a contract with a Veteran Affairs Administration and email them even you don’t need the the G4implants.
