Fall River Police investigating after man found shot
A man was shot in Fall River yesterday evening and FRPD has given us an update.
According to Captain Barden Castro, Fall River Police Uniform Division Officers responded to the area of Dwelly and South Main Streets in regard to a shooting at approximately 9:35 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found one male gunshot victim suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
Castro states that Major Crimes Division detectives, along with Uniform Officers, have been working on the incident during the overnight hours and it is still a fluid investigation.
