Fall River Police investigating after home hit by gunfire
Fall River Police are investigating after a Thursday night shooting.
According to Captain Barden Castro, at approximately 9:05 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Mott Street in regard to gunshots which had been heard in the area.
Officers were able to determine that several shots had been fired after finding shell casings. Officers also discovered that a house had been struck by gunfire.
There were no reported injuries.
The shooting adds to the list of recent shootings in the city.
On October 21, Fall River saw its third shooting in as many days.
Major Crimes Detectives and officers will be in the area today to follow up on the investigation.
