Fall River Police investigate as vehicle is struck by gunfire
Gunshots rang out this weekend in the City of Fall River.
According to Captain Barden Castro, on Saturday at approximately 10:13 p.m., Uniform Division Officers responded to the Sunset Hill Housing Development due to reports of gunfire at the complex.
Upon arrival, officers were able to locate several shell casings on the ground.
A vehicle parked at the development was struck by gunfire, however, it is not clear if that vehicle was the intended target.
No injuries were reported.
Major Crimes Detectives as well as Uniform Division Officers are following up on the incident.
