Fall River Police arrest man in Shell Station armed robbery
Fall River Police have arrested a man in an armed robbery from June.
According to Detective John Robinson, on August 14th, at 6:48 p.m., Detectives Moses Pereira and Dwaine Cabeceiras from the FRPD Major Crimes Division located and arrested Donald Fox-Guin for the armed robbery of Shell Gas Station on June 19th, 2019.
After a lengthy investigation by Detective Luis Vertentes, a confidential informant told detectives that Fox-Guin ran past them on the night of the robbery and gave them cigarettes from the robbery. The informant also said that Fox-Guin had shaved his facial hair shortly after the robbery to disguise himself and he could usually be found around the John Street area and Hartwell Commons. Upon seeing detectives, Fox-Guin ran and hid under a van on Wade Street but was quickly apprehended by Pereira and Cabeceiras without incident.
Armed Robbery – Shell Gas – 372 Plymouth Avenue – June 19, 2019
ARMED ROBBERY INVESTIGATION: On Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at approximately 5:00AM, Officer Timothy Magan and Nicholas Hoar were dispatched to Shell Gas located at 372 Plymouth Avenue for a report of an armed robbery. After speaking with the victim, it was determined that a black male wearing a black jacket with a blue hoodie underneath entered the store. The male was armed with a knife and demanded the clerk give him all of the money in the register. The clerk refused to comply with his demands and began using a nearby chair to create distance between he and the suspect. The suspect then began reaching for cigarettes that were stored above the counter. He was able to flee with several packs of cigaretts.
