Fall River Police arrest man after foot pursuit, 21 counterfeit 100 dollar bills found
Fall River Police arrested a city man Monday after a foot pursuit for the suspect.
According to Lt. Gregory Wiley, officers were dispatched to the CVS located at 550 Pleasant Street at approximately 10:00 p.m. in regard to a male using multiple counterfeit 100 dollar bills to purchase a Visa gift card.
Once Officers arrived, they encountered the male suspect in the parking lot. As Officers approached him, he took off running into traffic on Plymouth Avenue, nearly being struck by a passing motor vehicle.
Officers gave chase and were able apprehended the male suspect, 20-year-old James Horace, in the area of 115 Wordell Street as he attempted to climb a fence.
In total twenty one counterfeit 100 dollar bills were confiscated which led to Horace’s arrest.
