Fall River passes 6,500 COVID-19 cases

Fall River saw more cases of COVID-19 on Thursday.

According to the Mayor’s Office, 6,578 total cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 90 case increase since Wednesday.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

Deaths in Fall River contributed to COVID-19 remain at 202. The City had been notified of 4 more fatalities Tuesday. There were 6 fatalities over the weekend. Last week, 5 fatalities were announced on Friday, 1 fatality Thursday, 2 Wednesday, 3 Tuesday, and 9 fatalities over the weekend.

Friday had 63 additional cases. 235 cases of the coronavirus were added over the weekend. 58 more cases were announced on Tuesday. On Wednesday, 129 new COVID-19 cases were revealed.
