Fall River organization to provide bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen items to those in need
Fall River-MA- June 2023- United Neighbors of Fall River (UNFR) is pleased to announce the re-opening of the Home Project located at the Merrow Manufacturing Building. UNFR’s Home Project provides families and individuals in need with free non-furniture, gently used bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen items necessary to live with comfort and dignity.
“After being closed for nearly eighteen months due to the pandemic, we could not be more delighted to re-open the Home Project at such a vulnerable time.” said Wendy Garf-Lipp, Executive Director of United Neighbors. “And, we cannot thank the Merrow family enough for providing space for the Home Project and their continued support of helping the citizens of Fall River.”
The Home Project will be open by appointment only, for both clients and donors, starting June 1, 2023. Donation items of the greatest need include small appliances such as microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, crock pots, etc., lamps, and bath items. To set up an appointment to shop or donate please contact The Home Project coordinator, Jeannie Bettencourt, at 774-328-2043 or homeproject@unfr.org.
