Fall River man arrested after planning trip to sexually assault children

A Fall River man was arrested last month after planning a trip to Michigan just to sexually assault children.

According to a criminal complaint that was received by Fox 17 Michigan, Jonathan Ledoux had been investigated since November for sending messages in an incest chatroom to someone he thought was a young child.

The complaint alleges that there were several conversations between Ledoux and an undercover agent who posed as a single mother of two young girls. The conversations contained graphic text concerning sexual assault on children.

The situation evolved to wear Ledoux wanted to meet the non-existent girls.

Ledoux is alleged to have planned a trip to Grand Rapids for the purpose of assaulting the girls, despite the fact that he believed that he was being tracked.

He allegedly purchased two collars, in anticipation of the trip, for his victim’s to wear while he assaulted them.

According to Fox 17, Homeland Security was waiting for him when he arrived at Gerald R. Ford International Airport without incident. The Herald News confirmed that he is indeed from Fall River.

Ledoux is facing charges of ‘attempted coercion and enticement’ and ‘travel in interstate commerce with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor’.
