Teacher Assistant – Stevens Treatment Programs (Swansea)
$14.56 – $15.04 an hour

Job Description
Stevens is looking for committed, caring, dynamic people to work with us to make a difference in the lives of the troubled youth we serve. Teacher Assistants work with special needs, adolescent males in a structured, residential program setting. Responsibilities include assisting teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEP) for special needs students in a classroom setting, classroom management, and crisis intervention, when necessary.

Starting pay is $14.56 to $15.04 an hour to start, based on qualifications experience. Specialized training in individual learning strategies, as well as ongoing professional development opportunities provided, including tuition reimbursement for approved course work.
