Our yard workers drive our business preparing our drivers for their deliveries and offering outstanding customer service to our walk-in customers

What Key Role You’ll Play for Us:
• With safety first and foremost in mind, you’ll pick lumber materials to build customer loads, either for pick up or delivery by our drivers.
• Operate the forklift using safe work and driving practices.
• Maintain orderly and safe material storage piles, lifts of lumber and plywood, lifts of engineered wood, and other building materials.
• Help customers with load pick-ups.
• Maintain the yard, warehouse, and forklift in a clean and neat state at all times.
• Take pride in your work!!

What it Takes:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, driving record check, supervisory references and criminal background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to learn to drive a forklift.
• Knowledge of building materials helpful.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Willing to work hard, be challenged, learning, and growing with our company
• Must be able to pass drug screen and physical upon hire
• Must have a clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Serious about your safety, we conduct random drug and alcohol tests for all safety sensitive positions. You must have an ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing
