Fall River Fire Department extinguishes early morning fire to residence
Fall River firefighters quickly put out a Sunday morning fire.
At approximately 5:30 a.m., a call came into dispatch for a fire to the residence at 1077 Globe Street.
According to IAFF Local #1314 Fall River Firefighters, members made quick work of the fire and contained it to the exterior and stopped it from getting inside and to the roof, which could have proved much more difficult to contain.
All residents were out of the building upon arrival by firefighters and no injuries were reported.
Globe Street was shut down at Parker Street during the blaze.
The fire is under investigation.
