Fall River COVID-19 deaths reach 139, Wireless Emergency Alert to be issued Monday evening
Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Monday’s report.
According to the mayor’s office, 2,789 total cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 88 case increase over the weekend since Friday’s report.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
Deaths in Fall River contributed to COVID-19 increased to 139 as the City has been notified of three additional fatalities.
41 additional cases were revealed on Tuesday. Wednesday saw 54 cases of COVID-19. Thursday saw 42 cases. 69 cases were reported on Friday.
According to MEMA, Abington, Avon, Berkley, Canton, East Longmeadow, Fairhaven, Fall River, Hanover, Hanson, and Hingham residents will get a Wireless Emergency Alert on cell phones after 5 p.m. today due to being a high risk COVID-19 community.
