Fall River COVID-19 case total reaches 2,250, Halloween guidance issued

Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Friday’s report.

According to the mayor’s office, 2,250 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 6 case increase.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 135 today. The last fatality was released over two weeks ago.

The report for Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday showed 37 cases of COVID-19. Wednesday’s report announced 9 more COVID-19 cases. 10 cases were reported on Thursday.

Today, the Fall River Board of Health issued Halloween guidance which suggests avoiding trick-or-treating.
