Fall River COVID-19 case count increases to 2,162
Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Monday’s report.
According to the mayor’s office, 2,162 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, an 18 case increase over the weekend.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 135 today. The City was informed of an additional fatality Tuesday.
Mayor Coogan stated Thursday in an FRC Media interview that a lot of Fall River’s COVID-19 cases are asymptomatic.
On Tuesday, the City saw a one case decrease following the correction of a case falsely attributed to Fall River. Wednesday revealed 22 additional cases. 6 additional cases of COVID-19 were announced on Thursday. Friday, 3 more cases were reported.
