Driver deceased after truck wraps around tree on Interstate 195 in Somerset
A driver was killed after a crash Thursday on Interstate 195.
At just after 6:45 p.m. a call came into dispatch for a truck that reportedly crashed into a tree on Interstate 195 West in the area of exit 10B in Somerset.
Upon arrival, Massachusetts State Police, Somerset and Fall River Fire Departments discovered a driver heavily entrapped.
Massachusetts State Police told Fall River Reporter that the driver and sole occupant was declared deceased due to injuries sustained in the crash.
At this time no other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
