Driver cited, several occupants sent to the hospital, after multi-car crash in Fall River
A motor vehicle crash Friday evening in Fall River led to multiple people being transported to the hospital and a driver being cited.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira, just before 9:45 p.m., Units responded to the area of Plymouth Avenue and Palmer Street in response to a motor vehicle collision.
It was determined that the operator of a Toyota Corolla failed to yield at the stop sign as they attempted to enter the roadway at Plymouth Avenue. As a result, they collided with a Honda Civic traveling South on Plymouth Avenue. The Toyota came to rest in the bushes at a nearby residence and the Honda came to rest in the median.
The occupants of the Toyota were transported to Saint Luke’s Hospital for evaluation. The occupant of the Honda did not seek medical attention.
